Growing up in the Somerset countryside, surrounded by beautiful rich landscapes, my home as a child was situated right next to fields of blackcurrants, corn and cattle. A small village in south somerset which also had a country park an a quarry of Hamstone that was less than an hour away from many beaches and juarrissic coastlines. Looking back I feel this was taken for granted as a child but I appreciate it more and more as an adult. So, what can I say about the last month, it's been fantastic, 2019 has been an amazing start for me as an artist. I completed my biggest commissioned painting so far which was a exciting, I love a challenge and this piece was certainly a big one. I have also began to develop my skills concentrating on techniques to create organic forms whilst combining expressing human emotion, we are organic after all.
