My Inspiration this Week @wallartbyemily by Emily Duchscherer Kirk

My Inspiration @wallartbyemily

Good Morning, I hope you’ve all had a great week so far,

It’s Monday and the start of a new week,

Hope you have had a good morning.

So today I want to talk about my Inspiration for this week,

and my next big project.

PassionColorJoy

Yes, I know I’ve spelt colour wrong, right?

However the artist group I have joined on to with this challenge is called Passion Color Joy,

It was created by an American artist named Amira Rahim.

Last week was a truly Inspiring and fantastic,

I feel so energized to push my business and creative process forward!

Coming in to contact with support by hundreds of other Artists from all around the world has been amazing.

I recommend to all you other Artist out there.

This Week in the Studio

I’m taking a leap back to some abstract work I started 6 months ago,

So I created some small abstracts at the end of last week.

Just two 12 x 12″ paintings using some neon and metallic paints I had left over from the two paintings I created for my giveaway,

After the first two layers were applied I didn’t think they were going to work out,

They were going to the bin!

But then after thinking over night about what I could do to change what I didn’t like about them,

I made them into two pieces that I LOVED!

So, then I started thinking about a painting I sold last month, “Artist Palette.”

I loved this one and nearly kept it as it wasn’t selling….

I thought if I could salvage two paintings from the bin,

What could I do with a painting I loved to begin with?

My Idea for My Next big Project

I thought about how I could reinvent this painting into a much larger piece, adapting it slightly.

To make things more challenging I then decided I would use the same colours to create another large painting at the same time.

I love a challenge,

The idea is to create two large paintings that work together as a set,

Created with a mass of passion.

I’ll let you know how I get on!

Thanks for Reading,

Have a great day,

Emily.
