My Art week @wallartbyemily by Emily Duchscherer Kirk

My Art Week @wallartbyemily.

Happy Monday everyone, it’s the start of a new week.

Welcome to my art blog,

I hope you’ve all had a great weekend!

Today’s Post is about what I’m planning to do this week.

So last week I searched for new inspiration to create some new ideas,

Looking at some beautiful landscapes photographed by several local photographers,

I decided to create some compositions and techniques to paint some landscapes.

I then continued to finish three mini landscapes using the ideas from my research.

Using all three of these minis I am now in the final stages of a 100 x 70 cm piece.

Schedule for the week ahead.

So I have another 100 x 70 cm canvas to complete another funky landscape painting.

I will finally be creating videos of each of my paintings to go on the website,

This is mainly to show viewers all angles and close ups of my artworks.

It gives a better perspective on each painting before you buy.

I will also be adding videos of me creating my art.

I’m learning slowly how to use the software for these….

So that’s the main things for this week, they take a lot of time.

Blogs this week.

I will be posting my artist spotlight on Jorge Santos,

He’s a brilliant abstract artist in Portugal.

I follow his works on Instagram,

Speaking to other artists is great, you can bounce ideas off each other.

Also it is key for a fresh look on your artworks.

That’s what I love about some social media formats.

Speaking to other creatives all over the world is very useful for ideas,

and for motivation and support…..

My Website

So there’s still quite a few paintings reduced in price,

I also have 10% off commissions till the 31/1/18.

Thanks for reading,

and I hope you have a great start to the week.

Emily.
